Super Weird Substance The Super Weird Sunset in the morning set the tone perfectly with well-being and good vibes music as the artists also set up for the day.
Playwright Daisy Eris Campbell ('Cosmic Trigger')and author John Higgs Stranger Than We Can Imagine: Making Sense Of The Twentieth Century
and
The KLF: Chaos, Magic And The Band Who Burned A Million Pounds fascinated us during the talks, before Stella Grundy powerfully performed a section of her one-woman production 'The Rise And Fall Of A Northern Star', whilst poet JB Barrington well and truly put a smile on our faces with his Salford wit and acute observation.
Then it was Howard Marks.
The warmth towards him was something else, the area packed to capacity with queueing around the corner the entrance to the Estuary Stage.
A true countercultural icon of our times - the respect was tangible.
A potent line-up of DJ's followed
Blind Arcade and the Super Weird Society hit the ball out of the court big style - a phenomenal first appearance complete with live musicians.
Huge thanks to Black Grape's backing band, who Kermit had hijacked for the event.
Then I was on for the finale, and what a climax it turned out to be.
The stage was invaded at the end and when I looked to my side, appearing next to me, in a puff of smoke it seemed, was Back To Basics main man and UK club legend Dave Beer, who turned to me,
amidst the wonderful chaos of the moment and exclaimed '
this is seminal
Here's the footage - it really happened:

CakeGate Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has told restaurants that they must cut portion sizes of puddings or face being named and shamed.
What could possibly go wrong?
I do look forward to them labelling restaurants with the largest puddings...
were are they ??
In a private meeting, Hunt told 100 food companies that "doing nothing was not an option."

Deep Web - Kinetic audiovisual installation and performance
Deep Web - Kinetic audiovisual installation and performance
Deep Web is a monumental immersive audiovisual installation and live performance created by light artist Christopher Bauder and composer and musician Robert Henke.
Presented in enormous pitch dark indoor spaces, Deep Web plunges the audience into a ballet of iridescent kinetic light and surround sound.
The generative, luminous architectural structure weaves 175 motorized spheres and 12 high power laser systems into a 25 meter wide and 10 meter high super-structure, bringing to life a luminous analogy to the nodes and connections of digital networks.
Moving up and down, and choreographed and synchronized to an original multi-channel musical score by Robert Henke, the spheres are illuminated by blasts of colorful laser beams resulting in three-dimensional sculptural light drawings and arrangements in cavernous darkness.

Sultry as hell with vocoder vocals and a feeling that echoes in your head long after the track has finished.
His additions are beautifully produced and this version brings to the fore background melodies from the original and puts them front and centre. Accomplished stuff On u #SoundCloud

Coffee Time What does your coffee say about you ?
Coffee Time What does your coffee say about you ?
Coffee is the world’s second most traded commodity, with oil taking first place
When was the last time you heard someone say the coffee at their hotel tasted good?
Likely never.
Hotel chains typically buy cheap coffee, mainly because it is inexpensive, and they don’t see it as the luxury commodity that it is.
The majority of hotels purchase off-branded coffee that is usually close to its expiration date, meaning it was sitting a warehouse for a long time and was sold at auction for an extremely cheap price just to make room in the warehouse.
Even the brewed coffee that is served with breakfast is usually bitter and tasteless, or even stale.
Offering a great cup of coffee is nothing short of attention to detail, which will be appreciated in a very positive way.
