Cornish Smugglers Cheddar and Blue is a traditional farmhouse cheddar style cheese with red-orange veins throughout the cheese, produced by Whalesborough Farm Foods, Cornwall,UK

It is made using pasteurized cow's milk and vegetable rennet.
The vegetable dye Annatto is mixed with the curds while placing it into the moulds that gives attractive red-orange marble like texture to the cheese.
Annatto - the same vegetable dye used in Red Leicester and Double Gloucester - is added as the curds are placed in moulds.
The result is a unique and super-attractive cheese
This cheese is mold ripened with a creamy flavour and a creamy texture.

Cornish Smuggler has won one star gold at the Great Taste Awards 2013.
